My Truths #61 (eating “healthy”)

Eating “healthy” should make you feel great. Everybody had their idea of what eating healthy means. When you’re eating your version of a healthy diet do you feel empowered and energized or grumpy and deprived? If you feel empowered then that is powerful motivation to help you stay the course. If you don’t then I would challenge you to re-think what “healthy” eating is. A diet that leaves you hungry, irritable and feeling deprived is not a long term strategy for reaching and/or maintaining optimal health. What else is there? Look up Primal and/or Paleo eating and give an ancestral diet a try.
