You don’t need to eat grains to stay regular. Many people think that a large quantity of fibre from whole grains is needed in your diet to give bulk to your stool but the truth is most of your poop is made up of dead bacteria. The primal diet, being high in vegetables and fat, is conducive to regular healthy bowel movements. Also, having a healthy gut flora (by incorporating probiotics and fermented foods in to your diet) and choosing real food over processed food will help keep you regular even without grains. A healthy gut is also key to having a strong immune system. Taking care of your gut will help keep you healthy!
